I have just read Nalini Singh's Guild Hunter Series. There is 4 main books so far (Angel's Blood, Archangel's Kiss, Archangel's Consort and Archangel's Blade) and 3 side books (Angel's Pawn, Angel's Judgement, Angel's Wolf and Angel's Dance). And I really enjoyed them, they are for the adult readers as there are adult scene's. I realy liked how Nalini write's, you can realy see her angels in your mind with all the details she tell's you. These books tell of a world where Angel's flying through the sky is an every day sight, where they run every city around the world. And Vampire's are the everyday norm too. Made by the Angel's to work for them and with them to help run the city's under the Angel's control. The Vampire's have to sign a 100 year contract before they are tured saying they will work for the Angel that turned them for said 100 year's. The 'Hunter-Born' are a select few human's with abilites to track those few Vampire's that run off from their Angel bosses after only a few years of service or if they turn bloodlust and go on a killing spree.
The Angel's have been alive for so long that they are very closed off to a lot of feeling's. A lot of them are very ruthless and will break your legs or kill you without thinking twice about it. Each story tell's of an Angel or Vampire that's life is about to be turned upside down by ....wait for it.... a woman of course. Each couple have there own storys to tell.
I advise anyone who love's the paranormal romance, supernatural romance books to give these books a try. They are well worth the read.
Good Reading To You All!!
